"Preserving the art of Balinese silversmithing, one handcrafted piece at a time."
The Beginning
In the beginning, young Deni was captivated by his ancestors' tradition of making silver jewelry and the enduring craft of silversmithing in Bali, Indonesia. Bali has long been celebrated as an island rich in culture and arts—from intricate wood carving and vibrant painting to exquisite fabric making and masterful silversmithing.
For generations, Balinese silversmiths have been renowned for their exceptional skill and the unique appearance of their handmade jewelry. The distinctive technique of antiquing, which creates beautifully patterned tarnish, has become a hallmark of Balinese silver craftsmanship. This ancient method enhances the base of each piece, allowing the intricate motifs to stand out with striking clarity and depth.

A Vision Takes Shape
Deni's journey began while working for various silver manufacturers across Bali, where he honed his skills in designing and crafting handmade sterling silver jewelry. After several years of learning and perfecting his craft, he recognized a troubling trend: the number of Balinese silversmiths was declining each year.
This deeply concerned him. He believed that this rare and precious skill should be preserved and passed down from generation to generation, ensuring that the art of heritage Balinese craftsmanship would never be lost.
In 2007, driven by passion and purpose, Deni founded DENI Jewelry in Bali, Indonesia. His vision was clear: to revive the glory of heritage Balinese silversmithing while creating opportunities for local artisans and encouraging more young people to join this ancient craft.
Building a Legacy
Deni gathered and trained a dedicated group of local people, primarily young men from Bali, teaching them the ancient skill of making silver jewelry from scratch using heritage techniques. With patience, dedication, and respect for tradition, he passed down methods that had been refined over centuries.
Since then, Deni and his small but passionate team of skilled artisans have worked sustainably to honor the heritage of Balinese silver craftsmanship while meeting the demands of jewelry lovers around the world. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in our workshop in Bali, Indonesia, where tradition meets artistry.

What Makes DENI Jewelry Special
Authentic Balinese Craftsmanship
Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Bali using heritage silversmithing techniques passed down through generations.
Premium 925 Sterling Silver
We use only the finest quality 925 sterling silver, the international standard for premium silver jewelry. This means every piece contains 92.5% pure silver, ensuring exceptional durability, lasting shine, and hypoallergenic properties. Unlike silver-plated jewelry that wears off over time, our solid sterling silver pieces are built to last a lifetime with proper care.
Solid 18K Gold Accents
Select pieces in our collection feature solid 18K gold sheet that is carefully hammered and soldered onto the sterling silver base. This is genuine solid gold—not gold plating or vermeil—ensuring the gold accents will never fade, tarnish, or wear away. This traditional technique creates stunning two-tone designs that combine the warmth of gold with the brilliance of silver.
Natural Gemstones
We incorporate carefully selected natural gemstones into our designs, chosen for their beauty, quality, and cultural significance. Each gemstone is hand-set by our artisans, adding vibrant color and meaning to our handcrafted pieces.
Unique Antiquing Technique
Our signature antiquing process creates distinctive patterned tarnish that makes each motif stand out beautifully, giving every piece depth and character that highlights the intricate Balinese craftsmanship.
